My advocacy for property standards and strict By-law enforcement has been unwavering this term.
My residents expected safe, clean and well-maintained neighbourhoods along with a solution to the city’s various rental properties. I not only introduced the Residential Rental Licensing Program, but also continued to push for proactive and preventative enforcement strategies relating to neglected properties, illegal parking, excessive waste and other persistent By-law concerns.
More work still needs to be done and I will continue to make property standards and by-law enforcement a key priority, should I be re-elected.

My motion introduced the Residential Rental Licensing Program (RRL).
Council approved 96 new By-law positions, the largest expansion and investment in By-law & Enforcement in Brampton’s history.
A new streamlined escalations process for repeat By-law violations was introduced.
Launched the Proactive By-law Enforcement Pilot Program which includes patrol loops.
By-law fines were increased.
Updated the Comprehensive Zoning By-law to protect mature neighbourhoods and include additional safety measures dealing with ARU's and encroachments.
My motion banned the sale and use of fireworks.
