Our council secured federal and provincial funding regarding the advancement of the Hazel McCallion Light Rail Transit (LRT) Extension into downtown Brampton via the development of a rapid transit tunnel. This four-kilometre extension brings the LRT into downtown Brampton, creating a direct connection to the city’s core and improving transit access for residents and businesses.
